These terms govern your use of Stu.Do, an app provided by Mend Labs LLC.
/01Account
You are responsible for the security of your account. Don't share your password. Tell us at hello@stu.do if you believe your account has been compromised.
/02Acceptable use — zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
By using Stu.Do you agree NOT to:
- Post, share, or transmit content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Bully, harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
- Upload illegal, infringing, or sexually explicit content (including in chat, attachments, profile photos, or display names).
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to break the service.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without notice.
/03Reporting abuse
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these terms:
- Tap the message → Report in the chat to flag it.
- Tap a user's profile → Block to immediately stop seeing their content.
- Email hello@stu.do with details for any concern not covered by in-app tools.
We commit to reviewing reports and taking action — including removing content and ejecting offending users — within 24 hours of receiving a report.
/04Your content
You retain full ownership of everything you create in Stu.Do — tasks, courses, GPA records, messages, attachments, photos. We don't claim any rights to it.
By using group features (group assignments, group chat), you grant us a limited, revocable, royalty-free license to store and route that content to the group members you've explicitly invited, for the sole purpose of operating those features. This license terminates automatically when you delete the content or your account.
We don't use your content for any other purpose. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
/05Service availability
Stu.Do is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We recommend keeping your own backup of academic records that are critical to you.
/06Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mend Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Stu.Do.
/07Termination
You can stop using Stu.Do at any time. Account deletion is available in Settings → Account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent removal.
/08Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or via email.
